Visit the fully interactive PLAY Skylights exhibition – come and see Malostranské náměstí and the surroundings of St. Nicholas Cathedral with a birds-eye view. Explore all the corners and nests in magic loft spaces prepared for you by Petr Nikl and other artists. Develop your creativity, playfulness and imagination as well as that of your students through a number of sonic, optical, and kinetic instruments. The exhibition is fully interactive – all objects can be touched, explored, and played. The exhibition is suitable for children aged 3 and over. The exhibition is not restricted by language (i.e. it is suitable for visiting school groups speaking languages other than Czech).
In the Dreamers’ Recording Studio, equipped with a small recording device, it is possible for groups of up to ten players to “produce” their own musical creations and to take them away from the exhibition on CD, DVD, or another medium as an audio or video recording for future use. The exhibition also contains the Sensorium, which develops the twelve senses of man in accordance with the ideas of John Amos Comenius and Rudolf Steiner in a playful and comprehensible way.

The PLAY Skylights exhibition draws on the long-term project ORBIS PICTUS PLAY by Jiří and Radana Wald, which has been artistically conceived by Petr Nikl in cooperation with other artists. The exhibition therefore draws on the popularity (not just with school groups) of The Gate to the World of Creative Human Imagination, The Labyrinth of Light, The Leporelo Game, Golem, PLAY and the Sensorium inspired by the work of the humanistic thinker John Amos Comenius, author of The Labyrinth of the World and Paradise of the Heart.

It is possible to creatively supplement the regular teaching of music and arts, physics (optics, acoustics), and history with the PLAY Skylights exhibition. Creative sets of tools and tasks complementing the exhibition are offered FREE OF CHARGE to schools (kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools)!
Guided tours for teachers are organized free of charge (in Czech). Their purpose is to familiarize the teachers with the various objects in the exhibition as well as the creative sets.
